Today I have 433 subscribers, grown with this same method. 9 editions. 58 women. 732 views and 79 comments on Part 1. No ads. No algorithm. Just a repeatable method, and a guide that documents every step.
On April 8, 2026, I reached 100 Substack subscribers. It had taken me 5 months. From 3 subscribers in November to 100 in April. I was celebrating — and a little braver than usual.
That same afternoon, I had an idea. What if I asked several women over 40 two simple questions and gathered their answers into one article? Their exact words. Their photos. No AI. Real midlife women, speaking openly.
I sent the first DM that Saturday. By Monday, 75% of the women I asked had said yes. The article published April 16. Today it has 732 views and 79 comments. My previous articles averaged 50 to 100 views and often had zero comments. Within 17 days I had 45 new subscribers — more than the entire previous 5 months combined.
I did not run ads. I did not go viral. I did not have a large audience anywhere. I invited women to create something together. This guide is the complete system behind that.
You publish consistently. You write well. You engage in Notes. But growth is slow, engagement is thin, and every post feels like it lands in the same small pond. You are not doing anything wrong. You are just growing alone.
You write for your existing audience — and never reach beyond it
Restacks feel like lottery tickets — sometimes someone shares, most of the time they don't
Comments are sparse — engagement drops even when the writing is good
You have no system for consistently reaching new audiences — just hope and algorithms
Growth feels transactional — followers but not real community
The Co-Author Method solves all of this. Not with more content. With one article that multiplies your reach across 10 audiences at once — because 10 women publish it simultaneously.
This is the complete method, with every decision explained. The 12 chapters document my first four editions. I have now run it nine times, and the new 2026 October Update PDF covers editions 5 to 9 and the Co-Author Directory.

Structure, title formula, subtitle formula, formatting decisions — with real examples from all four editions.
Before, during, and after. The shoutout Notes formula. The publication day DM. The Instagram collaborator extension.
Every number from every edition. Linked to the actual articles. Nothing inflated, nothing hidden.
Every step in the exact order I ran it — from first DM to post-publication shoutouts.

Every article is live. You can read them all on my Substack. These are the actual stats from my dashboard on October 15, 2026. Not projections, not averages, not best-case scenarios.
My previous articles averaged 50 to 100 views and often had zero comments. The call for submissions post alone brought in 10 new subscribers directly — women who subscribed specifically to be featured.
Both give you the full guide, cheat sheet, tracker, and the masterclass replay.
When you start your first edition, you will have questions. Small ones and big ones. Is this DM okay? Should I wait one more day? How do I choose my theme? What would you do?
For 3 weeks after purchase, you send me anything by Substack message. I reply within 48 hours. No call. No scheduling. Just real answers from someone who has run this 5 times.

You have a Substack and want to reach beyond your current audience
You believe in collaboration over competition — genuinely
You want real engagement, not just follower counts
You are willing to show up for other women the way you want them to show up for you
You have 100 subscribers or 1,200 — this method compounds at any size
You want to go viral overnight or hack the algorithm
You are not yet on Substack — start there first
You want a passive method that runs without relationship-building
You are not willing to ask other women to share
Does this work if I have under 100 subscribers?
It can work under 100, but I recommend having around 100 before you start — it gives you enough of a community to invite from. Co-authors in my first edition ranged from 7 subscribers to 2,400. The method compounds at any size: a larger account brings more reach, a smaller account brings energy and gratitude. Both matter. If you have 1,000+ subscribers, the combined audience you create across 10 co-authors is exponential. The bigger you already are, the bigger the ripple.
Do I need to be in the midlife or women's niche?
No. Chapter 12 covers exactly how to adapt the method to any niche where people have lived experiences worth sharing. Parenting, business, wellness, creative work, career change — the mechanic is the same. The topic changes. Everything else stays.
What if women don't say yes?
75% of the women I invited said yes within 24 hours. Chapter 1 explains exactly why — and how to choose your topic and write your invitation so that it feels like an honour to be asked, not a favour. The DM template is in Chapter 10, word for word.
You need one good question, a handful of women you already know a little, and the courage to ask. This is how women grow on Substack together. Not by competing. By collaborating.
